NAGA CITY, Philippines—Reunited at the table once more, Monika Batra of India unleashed her powerful forehand strikes to dethrone last year’s champion and rival, Korea’s Suh Hyo Won, claiming a 3-1 victory at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Star Contender Goa 2024 on Jan. 24 at the Peddem Indoor Stadium.
