Teachers offer brighter days ahead

The Department of Education initiates a reform to provide teachers with faster, merit-based pathways. The Department of No. 24, S. 2025, Expanded Career Progression System (ECPS), provides efficient promotions for teachers to recognize their tireless hard work, as well as to boost their teaching morale and determination.
I have caught sight of the generosity of the reform that the DepEd implements, but the government focuses on improving the uniformed workers, such as the police and the military.
Ever since, Teachers have always been the ones who lift us up from hardship—their teachers inspire people, save lives, and are something that brings us up for brighter days ahead.
To talk about the established promotions, the standard before required a lot of requirements and recognition, while nowadays, a teacher who has a good quality of teaching can easily have a promotion. Promotions really have a good value as well as decent opportunities, but I do think that every teacher who exerts effort in their class deserves recognition.
Since teachers work hard to balance heavy workloads and pursue quality teaching, they deserve validation and recognition for their efforts.
