There are two types of TABE exams at Camp Buehring
Pre-TABE: diagnostic exam that is used to determine your strengths and weaknesses
Post-TABE: diagnostic exam used to determine growth from the initial Pre-TABE and self-studying
The purpose of this exam is help gain an understanding of where you are before you schedule the AFCT. Remember that when you take the AFCT whatever score you make is your new score. If your targeted score is NOT reached, you would not be able to retake the exam for another 6 months. This is why these exams are so important.
