Requirements

Before you can schedule an AFCT, you have to complete the following:

PART I

• completed the Pre-TABE exam

• spoken with a counselor about your test results

PART II

• review the sample 4187 to ensure that you complete the document correctly

• type your information into a blank 4187 (download below) following the sample

• acquire permission and CAC signature from your commander

• submit the 4187 to Education Center to schedule your exam

NOTE: The 4187 must be typed and it must be e-sign with CAC by your commander.
