第三日反省——你要往哪里去？

"你要往哪里去？" 这是我们日常生活中常听到的问题——可能来自朋友、家人，甚至导航软件。但今天，让我们超越表面的方向，从灵魂的层面思考：你的心灵正走向何方？

生命是一场朝圣之旅

就像亚巴郎，我们蒙召离开舒适区，走向天主的应许之地（创12:1）；又像厄玛乌路上的门徒（路24:13-35），我们有时认不出耶稣与我们同行，但祂始终在引导我们。

我是在走向基督，还是在漫无目的地漂泊？

在《宗徒大事录》中，耶稣升天前的最后一句话是："你们将为我作证人……直到地极"（宗1:8）。宗徒们本可以因恐惧而躲在晚餐厅里，但他们没有——他们被圣神充满，走出去改变了世界。

今天，耶稣也在问我们每个人："你要往哪里去？"

1. 你是否原地踏步？（被恐惧困住）

耶稣受难后，门徒们躲在紧闭的门后（若20:19）；甚至在复活后，有些人回到了过去的生活（若21:3）。恐惧——害怕失败、拒绝或未知——会让我们停滞不前。

• 你的信仰是否停滞不前？
• 过去的失败或怀疑是否阻碍了你前进？

五旬节的圣神降临改变了一切（宗2）。曾经恐惧的门徒成了勇敢的见证者。圣神，就是"原地踏步"和"为主燃烧"的区别。

2. 你是否已在路上？（履行使命）

初期教会没有停留在原地，而是勇敢出发：
• 斐理伯跑向厄提约伯太监的马车（宗8:26-40）
• 伯多禄打破传统，前往科尔乃略的家（宗10）
• 保禄从迫害者变为朝圣者，为基督跋涉千里（宗9,13-28）

天主召叫我们，不是为了安逸，而是为了皈依和使命。
• 祂要派遣你去哪里？
• 谁是你的"厄提约伯太监"——正等待你讲解福音的人？

3. 你是否走错了方向？（像扫禄一样）

在成为保禄之前，他是扫禄——"还向主的门徒口吐恐吓和凶杀之气"（宗9:1）。他以为自己是在服侍天主，实际上却在迫害基督的教会。

• 你是否正走向错误的方向？
• 你是否以"我一直都是这样"为借口，纵容自己的罪？

但在去大马士革的路上，耶稣以"扫禄，扫禄，你为什么迫害我？"（宗9:4）拦住了他。基督也愿意这样打断你的迷途——只要你允许祂。

4. 你是否决心走到底？（像保禄一样）

保禄的旅程没有止步于大马士革。他继续前行，历经鞭打、船难和监禁，直到罗马，在那里为基督献上生命。他最后的宣告是：
"这场好仗，我已打完；这场赛跑，我已跑到终点；这信仰，我已保持"（弟后4:7）。

• 你愿意跟随基督到底吗？
• 还是会在道路艰难时转身退缩？

"你要往哪里去？" 这个问题，其实是"你在跟随谁？"
• 如果你被困住：祈求新的五旬节（"圣神，请降临！"）
• 如果你迷失方向：让耶稣像改变扫禄一样引导你（"主，你要我做什么？"）
• 如果你已在使命中：继续前进！（世界需要你的见证）

祈祷

 "主啊，你曾问扫禄：'你为什么迫害我？'
今天也请你问我：'你为什么忽略我？为什么害怕？为什么退缩？'
赐我宗徒们的勇气，
无论去往天涯，还是走向邻舍——
因为我真正的归途，是走向你。阿们。"

Day 3 Reflections - Where are you going?

"Where are you going?" This is a question we often hear in daily life—perhaps from a friend, a family member, or even a GPS. But today, let us reflect on this question not just in a physical sense, but spiritually: Where is your soul journeying?

Life itself is a pilgrimage.  

Like Abraham, we are called to leave our comfort zones and journey toward God’s promise (Gen 12:1). Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus (Lk 24:13-35), we may not always recognize Jesus walking beside us, but He is there, guiding us.

Am I walking toward Christ, or am I drifting aimlessly?

In the Acts of the Apostles, Jesus’ final words before His Ascension were: “You will be my witnesses... to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8). The disciples could have stayed in fear, locked in the Upper Room. But they didn’t—they went out, filled with the Holy Spirit, and changed the world.

Today, Jesus asks each of us: “Where are you going?"

1.⁠ ⁠Are You Going Nowhere? (Stuck in Fear)

After the Crucifixion, the disciples hid behind locked doors (Jn 20:19). Even after the Resurrection, some returned to their old lives (Jn 21:3). Fear can paralyze us—fear of failure, rejection, or the unknown. 

•⁠  ⁠Are you standing still in your faith?

•⁠  ⁠Do past failures or doubts keep you from moving forward?

Pentecost changed everything (Acts 2). The same fearful men became bold witnesses. The Holy Spirit is the difference between a life going nowhere and a life set ablaze for God.

2.⁠ ⁠Are You Going Somewhere? (On Mission)

The early Church didn’t just stay - they went:

•⁠  ⁠Philip ran to the chariot of the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-40). 

•⁠  ⁠Peter left Joppa for Cornelius, breaking Jewish custom (Acts 10). 

•⁠  ⁠Paul turned from persecutor to pilgrim, traveling thousands of miles for Christ (Acts 9, 13-28). 

God doesn’t call us to comfort; He calls us to conversion and mission.

•⁠  ⁠Where is He sending you?

•⁠  ⁠Who is your "Ethiopian eunuch"—someone waiting for you to explain the Gospel?

3.⁠ ⁠Are You Going the Wrong Way? (Like Saul)

Before he was Paul, he was Saul—"breathing threats and murder" (Acts 9:1). He thought he was serving God, but he was persecuting Christ’s Church. 

•⁠  ⁠Are you heading in the wrong direction?

•⁠  ⁠Do you justify sin because "it’s how I’ve always been"?

But on the road to Damascus, Jesus stopped him with a question: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" (Acts 9:4). Christ can interrupt your path too—if you let Him.

4.⁠ ⁠Are You Going  All the Way? (Like Paul)

Paul’s journey didn’t end at Damascus. He kept going—through beatings, shipwrecks, and prison—until he reached Rome, where he gave his life for Christ. His final words: 

“ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Tim 4:7). 

•⁠  ⁠Will you follow Christ to the end?

•⁠  ⁠Or will you turn back when the road gets hard?

The question “Where are you going?" is really “Who are you following?"

•⁠  ⁠If you’re stuck: Pray for a new Pentecost. (Come, Holy Spirit!)

•⁠  ⁠If you’re wandering: Let Jesus redirect you, like Saul. (Lord, what do You want me to do?)

•⁠  ⁠If you’re on mission: Keep going! (The world needs your witness.)

Prayer

“Lord, You asked Saul, ‘Why are you persecuting Me?’ 

Ask me today: ‘Why are you ignoring Me? Why are you afraid? 

Why are you holding back?’ 

Give me the courage of the Apostles to go where You send me -

whether across the world or across the street -

for my true journey is to You. Amen."
