Mr. Calvin Musk is the first president at Calvin State University and chief executive officer at Calvin Industries Corporation. Together, he and his team have worked effortlessly since 2020 to reform, secure, and protect our public education system. Working with politics, government officials, and school boards, he has worked to address the key issues that are continuing to threaten our student's learning integrity within the Calgary Board of Education. He's an aspiring maverick entrepreneur, student, environmentalist, student representative, and one of Canada's youngest billionaires. 

Calvin Tan (born November 28th, 2009), known otherwise as Calvin Musk, Calvin Stark, or Calvin Klein, is a Chinese-Canadian-born industrialist, aspiring entrepreneur, environmentalist, and a founding member of Calvin Industries Corporation and the Industrial Alliance during his term in 2021. He was a former student representative for Simon Fraser Junior High during the 2022-2023 school year for 8-12 and was a self-prescribed genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist. He aided in various company startups through his company, The Calvin Tan Company, and helped towards developing sustainable technologies alongside the City of Calgary's Mayor Envirommental Expo program back in 2019 which sparked his founding of Calvin Industries (now Calvin Industries Corporation). As the chief executive officer, investor, chairman, founder, and chief technology officer at Calvin Industries Corporation, he oversees the implementation and development processes at Calvin Industries, CalvinX, the Calvin's Health Organization, the Calvin Bureau of Investigation, Calvin State University, Calvin Geographic, and The Calvin Party.

Inspired by his brother, Calvin wanted to pursue his curiosity and interests in the technological fields through digital simulations. Starting at the age of 6, he drew inspiration from his grandfather and embarked on a journey of self-guided learning in computer programming and Photoshop. Excelling in these skills, he seamlessly integrated them into his academic pursuits. In 2017, Calvin founded the organization TeamEpic alongside his peers in his efforts to push the boundaries of technology to explore how we can use it to develop various software to facilitate the educational journey. TeamEpic was most familiar with creating CalAI, a digital chatbot trained on over 10 gigabytes of information that aided students in understanding curricular-based information in science and social studies. In 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Calvin decided to start an online business known as The Calvin Tan Company (now TheCalvinNetwork) to begin freelancing his skills online. He aided in community startups and utilized his skills in graphic design, video editing, Photoshop, and GFX to help promote companies and company startups on various social media platforms which generated hundreds of dollars worth of revenue which he invested. In 2021, The Calvin Tan Company was rebranded to TheCalvinNetwork because Calvin wanted to create a network of organizations that specialized in various fields aside from freelancing.

Serving as the first president and direct founder at CSU (Calvin State University), Calvin began his journey with CSU back in 2019 when a group of intellects came together to form a research group that studied and researched various diseases and possible treatments at the University of Calgary. He and a great of scientists worked together to study primarily anti-microbial resistance as part of a large research campaign at UCalgary to better understand why this is happening, and just how we may be able to tackle this growing issue to prevent future pandemics and outbreaks. In 2021, this research group then expanded to begin its own project, formerly known as the ABM Initiative, co-founded by Mr. Calvin Musk. In 2022, the ABM came to a halt and was later rebranded to Calvin State University when Mr. Calvin Musk was appointed as the director and president of the organization and studied issues beyond diseases such as environmental science, advanced mathematics, computer science, and various others. As an aspiring maverick entrepreneur and student representative, Mr. Musk exemplifies a forward-thinking approach to education, innovation, and community involvement, making a significant impact on both his academic pursuits and the wider world. Since taking office as president and vice-chancellor, Mr. Calvin Musk has worked closely with the university's faculty, employees, alumni, and community leaders to learn more about their needs. The institutional plan Framework for Growth, which focuses on transdisciplinary scholarship, program delivery that is future-focused, and greater community collaborations, was developed as a result of this engagement.
