New Residents

Newcomers

You now are living in a diverse waterside community. Your neighbors may range from retirees to first time home owners. While you are awake, others may be sleeping, so please be considerate of the different life styles of other residents. The CBCA is run by volunteers elected to the Board of Directors. You are encouraged to become active in the CBCA. Watch this website and our facebook page for announcements of meetings and activities. Many activities are also posted on the Community Bulletin Board on Calvert Beach Road by the power lines.

Access to the beach is open to all Calvert Beach Residents living within the CBC Boundaries. There is stairway access for members at the east end of Avenue D and there is a gated parking lot and boat ramp at the east end of Calvert Avenue. Beach access for members, and their accompanying guests, is free. There is a charge for a key to access the boat ramp parking. To be eligible to receive a key, you must be an owner and your dues must be current. The key and lock are changed periodically. When parked on the lot, parking passes must be displayed. To get a key, send an email to the CBCA email address noted below. Please close lock gate after entering, and if you pass by and see the gate open, please stop and lock it. The ramp and parking area are private property.

Calvert Beach is a member of Neighborhood Watch, and a sponsor of National Night Out. To report non emergency infractions, such as trespassing or loud parties, call the Calvert County Sheriff's Office non emergency number #410-535-2800. For emergencies dial 911.
