"Introduction to learning and teaching mathematics in grades K-8. The course requires attending a weekly on-campus seminar and participating in 15 hours of field placement in a local school."

• Take the role of elementary students and do fun math projects!

• Volunteer at local classrooms to gain first-hand interactions with teachers and students (count as pre-professional hours too!)

• build relationships with teachers and students (I got my letters of rec. from the teacher I worked with~)

Con(s):

• One lecture per week but lecture is long (3 hours)
