About us

Hello! I am one of your co-presidents, and I'm a fourth-year Psychological and Brain Sciences major and an Educational Studies minor. I heard about this club through the ED 128 course and am excited to share it with others. I also work at the Rec Center on campus! I am our liaison to the Impact Mentorship Club, make content, and plan events. 

Hi y'all! I am a your other co-president and I am a fourth-year Environmental Studies major. I am interested in environmental science and outdoor education and I heard about CalTeach from Olivia! I am also a  student assistant for the Environmental Studies department and a restoration intern at CCBER.  I help manage our club's Instagram page alongside Dani,  update our website, and plan events.

Hello!!! My name is Dani, I am a 4th year Biology major with a minor in Education. I am your social media manger, I’m from Sacramento, California and I come from a long line of educators. My aspiration of becoming a high school biology teacher led me to join the club. Most of my inspiration for teaching comes from my family and hearing how they were able to make a difference in their classrooms, as well as teachers throughout my education who have gone above and beyond to see me succeed.

Hi! My name is Allison Grindstaff, I am also a 4th year sociology major and Education Minor. I decided to join CalTeach Together Club because I am planning to become an elementary school teacher!
