EDIT 780 was an introduction to the idea of creating learning experiences by design: the careful consideration and selection of factors to create an optimal learning environment. Design is principle-based; our weekly learning experiences each focused on one of six guiding design principles. Throughout this course, I learned about design processes through the cycle of starting as a teacher designer and ending as a student designer. I also learned how to make my thinking visible in design documents, blog posts, reflections, and Google Doc comments to myself.
