The fall Advanced Drama class will present our production in Caiman Hall Jan 8-10th, 2026!
Transport yourself to a mythic world where gods and mortals collide in Mary Zimmerman's Tony Award-winning masterpiece, Metamorphoses. Based on Ovid's ancient tales of transformation, this production unfolds in and around a massive pool of water on stage, creating a stunning and symbolic landscape. Through a series of spellbinding vignettes—from the tragic love of Orpheus and Eurydice to the foolish greed of King Midas—the play beautifully juxtaposes the ancient with the contemporary. Rich with visual poetry, music, and powerful storytelling, Metamorphoses is a moving meditation on the joys, follies, and heartbreaks of being human, proving that these myths still burn with universal relevance today.
