Calgary, Alberta – The Calgary music community is celebrating one of its most dedicated leaders as Chris Herard has been named Music Educator of the Year at the 2024 YYC Music Awards (YYCMA). This prestigious honour recognizes Herard’s exceptional contributions to music education and his lasting impact on students, educators, and the Calgary music scene.

Calgary, Alberta – The Calgary music community is celebrating a remarkable achievement as Elizabeth DiMarino has been named Music Educator of the Year at the 2024 YYC Music Awards (YYCMA). This prestigious honour recognizes DiMarino’s extraordinary contributions to music education and her dedication to nurturing young musicians throughout the city.
With over 20 years of experience in music education, DiMarino has cultivated a reputation for her innovative teaching methods, passion for the arts, and commitment to fostering a deep love of music among her students. Her work extends beyond traditional classroom settings, involving community outreach, performances, and mentorship programs aimed at providing students with invaluable real-world music experiences.
