Job Description
Performs product sales activities for new/renewal business to achieve or exceed assigned product and service revenue objectives
develop and pro-actively execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall account strategy
Effectively lead all stages of the sales process from developing territory/account plans and building pipeline to closing
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products and services
Creates and conducts advanced product sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified customer needs. Identifies ANSYS advantages and positions ANSYS‘s products/services as superior to competitive offerings
Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations and value propositions for current and prospective customers
Creates and maintains account plans for existing and new customers in collaboration with the Sales Manager
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting and technical services groups
Participates in industry shows and conventions; leads training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities
Develops relationships with customers with the intent of securing, extending and elevating the ANSYS presence within the account
Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering degree with several years experience in selling CAE Software.
A passion for selling and interacting with customers to meet their needs.
Technical knowledge of the products or services they are selling with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communications with good presentation skills.
Highly organized and punctual.
Accountability and a strong customer service ethos are essential prerequisites for this critical role.
An ability to achieve results while operating independently with minimal guidance is a must.
Good handle on selling approaches, documentation and presentation of new technical concepts effectively to core Engineers and Engineering Management alike.
Ability to connect use of a technology to customer economic benefit.
Skills to gain when filling the position

Job Description
The Application Engineer is responsible for leveraging expert-level engineering knowledge and relationships to support customers and help them solve complex engineering problems using ANSYS software products. This role provides technical pre-sales and post-sales support:
Technical Support:
Excellent technical knowledge of the tool suite and their application on simulating physics, focusing to industry's cutting edge designs in order to provide support to end-users of Ansys software by phone, e-mail, or on-site
Pre-Sales support:
Work independently to analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of a customers’ current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows
Determine the customer’s software needs, answer customer questions during the sales process, and provide software demos/presentations on a variety of subjects.
Executing all technical activities at both pre-sales and post-sales level, ranging from product presentations, evaluations to using the tools on real life designs
Consulting:
Work with customers to determine their analysis requirements and expectations
Develop quotes/proposals by determining scopes, costs, and schedules
Complete consulting projects on time and within budget
Work with customers to propose alternative design ideas
Write analysis reports and other technical documents requested by the customer.
4 .Technical Trainings and webinars:
Instruct beginner and advanced training classes on the usage of ANSYS products.
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering Degree in Mechanical /Fluid Mechanics
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering software environment (Ansys software much preferred)
Solid theoretical background in numerical simulation backed up by real-world, production-level experience
Logical problem-solving approach and analytical skills
Excellent technical writing and communication skills in English and French (German is a real asset)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
Ability to handle a variety of technical areas
Possesses a professional attitude, strong organizational and follow-up skills
Must be able to work well in a group and independently.

As a Remote Support Engineer, you will be responsible for all levels of phone, email and remote IT support for our customers.
Your mission will be:
responding to IT support calls from end users of computers and ANSYS software applications
setting up and installing new computers, networks and ANSYS software on different OS plateforms
diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software installation and configuration faults
Update database with call status and information and ensure all parties are informed.
Provide reports where required, ability to multi-task and maintain priorities.

Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure functionality and coordination of departmental activities
