"Hacked Hassel 1.0 added a weedless bow to the original Hassel design.  It also has a rounded stern.  Both changes allow for easier turning with less lean as compared to the original.  Side gunnels were narrowed to keep paddler's strokes more parallel to  the centerline.

Hacked Hassel 2.0  has a weedless bow and more narrow gunnels to keep the stern paddler's strokes closer to the centerline."
