"The hull is exactly the same as the Gillies below the waterline. Above the waterline the gunwales are flared at the stern to allow a smaller paddler to move the seat back farther. This allows the typical arrangement of lighter stern/heavier bow paddler with larger weight discrepancies than the Gillies allows."
