STANDARD 9: PROFESSIONALISM, LEADERSHIP, AND ACCURACY

Standard 9 - Professionalism, Leadership, and Advocacy – The competent teacher is an ethical and reflective practitioner who exhibits professionalism; provides leadership in the learning community; and advocates for students, parents or guardians, and the profession.

The artifacts below show not only my commitment to students but also my commitment to my colleagues in the profession. The first two videos show a speech that I gave at the student commissioning ceremony discussing the use of assessments to guide instruction. The third artifact is a presentation that was given to my classmates on the importance of modeling for students.
