The artifacts below show the various ways that we can modify instruction for students based on their abilities. The first document was created in 2020 during virtual instruction. It is a modified graphic organizer which has been modified includes to include an anchor chart as well as an excerpt from the text. Students are given resources that prevent them from having to navigate multiple texts for one assignment. Included in this tool students are also provided the quote they are to analyze which can be removed to make the assignment more challenging. The second artifact was created in the fall of 2022 during student teaching. This artifact is a writing template. This document can be used to assist struggling writers by providing sentence starters to help them.
