All adults involved in the Scouting program should be familiar with YPT; this ensures they know what we leaders know about YPT - keeps everything transparent. Parents can access YPT training at https://my.scouting.org/
Currently it is not REQUIRED from National/Council/District, but there is an increasing number of packs who are requiring parents to take YPT for their child to participate in the program. It can always just be presented as “a good idea” for folks to take the training.
