writing copy and writing sales copy and advertising copy and Im gonna give you two books that are mostly about sales copy and advertising so if you if you want to improve your sales copy then I recommend these books the first is words that sell by Richard Byun and in this piece got tons of little things in here but what this book does is it gives you it gives you synonyms and other ways of saying certain things so the first thing he talks about is all the different descriptions and benefits you might have for a product so if a product is competitive then you could say its cutting-edge its creative its energetic or you say we challenge or something you say its potent in-your-face aggressive if the if one of the benefits is its money-saving you could say its low-priced sale priced below wholesale at a price you can afford so it gives you a lots of variations of how you can say things it also gives you a good crash course on writing copy which is really useful on the first few pages and he gives you things like teasers how to see different variations of free prize or sale or discounts hes given you headlines and slogans for you to use so this is a really powerful book if you write copy okay the next one is an old classic and Ive just been getting through this and its such a powerful book and its called Ill give Lee on advertising Im not sure if Im pronouncing his name right or give Lee how to write a intro paragraph for an essay he hates rules okay great this is one of those old classics hes not alive anymore and he wrote some of the best written advertising the best written copy ever created and its got its all color pictures and he talks about how to write for specific areas how to use a motion in your language how to write for print how to run an advertising agency theres just how to get clients with different advertising and he breaks down famous adverted verts from you know the old days and he talks about why they worked so well so thats another very powerful book if you want to improve your writing so thats just a few the ones I didnt mention are on writing there is a book called thats by Stephen King there is a book called scientific advertising I recommend you check that out as well and other than that I mean theres just so many books on writing and about how to become a better writer bit if you havent heard of any of those and you want to become a better writer I recommend you check those out you can learn a ton about writing from advertising as well so even if you dont write advertising copy you can still learn a ton from that about writing because the people who write really good copy theyve studied writing as well so thats it for this video because its my superpower my writing Ive used it to make money in my
