The AI group for Teachers of Statistics in the Health and Life Sciences, globally aims to revolutionise biostatistics education through AI, with a strong emphasis on caution and ethical considerations. We address challenges such as conveying complex concepts and accommodating diverse student backgrounds by utilising AI for personalised learning paths and interactive simulations. Additionally, we tackle assessment difficulties like ensuring fairness and providing timely feedback with AI-driven tools that offer automated grading and detailed performance analytics. Furthermore, AI can facilitate collaborative learning through virtual study groups and peer-to-peer interactions, and provide real-time data analysis tools that allow students to engage with real-world datasets, enhancing their practical skills and preparing them for professional applications. This group will also lead on integrating machine learning (ML) and AI in Big Data analysis, where we can uncover hidden patterns, predict trends, and provide deeper insights, making the learning process more dynamic and impactful.Â
