BUP SPEAKER RESCUE - PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains how BUP Apps ("BUP Apps", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the BUP Speaker Rescue Android application ("BUP Speaker Rescue", the "App", or the "Application").

BUP Speaker Rescue is a utility application that provides locally generated audio tools including Water Eject, Speaker Test, and Full Spectrum Sweep.

The App does not require a BUP Apps account and does not operate a BUP Apps user-profile backend.

The App uses Google AdMob for advertising, Google's User Messaging Platform ("UMP") for advertising privacy and consent management where applicable, and Google Play Billing for the optional Remove Ads & Support purchase.

2. CORE APP FUNCTIONALITY

The primary acoustic functions of BUP Speaker Rescue run locally on the user's device.

Audio used by Water Eject, Speaker Test, and Full Spectrum Sweep is generated locally and played through the device's audio output.

BUP Speaker Rescue does not use the microphone to record, capture, upload, or transmit the user's voice or surrounding audio.

The App does not require access to photographs, videos, contacts, precise location, camera, or personal files for its normal core functionality.

3. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY BY THE APP

BUP Apps does not require users to submit personally identifying information in order to use BUP Speaker Rescue.

The App does not provide BUP Apps user accounts, social profiles, cloud synchronization, user-generated content uploads, or a BUP Apps server-side database of user profiles.

The App may store operational preferences and state locally on the device, including selected language, selected theme, haptic preference, advertising-frequency counters, soft-offer state, completion counters, and a cached Remove Ads entitlement state.

These local values are used to operate the App and are not independently uploaded to a BUP Apps user-profile server.

4. GOOGLE ADMOB AND GOOGLE MOBILE ADS

BUP Speaker Rescue uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner and interstitial advertisements to users who have not purchased Remove Ads & Support.

Google advertising services may automatically collect, process, and share information including the device's IP address, which may be used to estimate general location; user product interactions such as app launches, taps, advertisement interactions, and video views; diagnostic and performance information; Android Advertising ID where available and permitted; App Set ID; device identifiers; and, where applicable, identifiers associated with accounts on the device.

Google states that data automatically collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).

Google's processing is governed by Google's own privacy policies, terms, advertising controls, consent systems, and applicable law.

5. ADVERTISING PURPOSES AND AD SERVING MODES

Information processed through Google advertising services may be used for advertising, ad selection, ad personalization where legally permitted and consented to, non-personalized or limited advertising, advertising measurement, analytics, frequency management, fraud prevention, abuse detection, security, and regulatory compliance.

Depending on the user's jurisdiction, privacy choices, Google settings, device configuration, age or account signals, and applicable law, the App may receive personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or advertising subject to restricted data processing.

BUP Apps does not independently operate a cross-app advertising profile database.

6. GOOGLE USER MESSAGING PLATFORM AND PRIVACY CHOICES

BUP Speaker Rescue uses Google's User Messaging Platform ("UMP") to obtain and manage advertising privacy choices where required.

Applicable users may be shown Google-managed privacy messages that allow them to review relevant purposes and vendors, provide or decline consent where available, and manage advertising privacy choices.

Where Google indicates that a privacy-options entry point is required, the App provides access to Google's privacy-options interface so applicable users can review or change their choices.

The exact privacy controls shown may vary according to jurisdiction, Google configuration, applicable law, and the user's prior choices.

7. GOOGLE PLAY BILLING AND REMOVE ADS & SUPPORT

BUP Speaker Rescue offers an optional one-time in-app product called Remove Ads & Support through Google Play Billing.

Purchasing this product is not required to use the App's core utility functions. A valid entitlement disables BUP Speaker Rescue's advertising and related in-app purchase promotional prompts.

Google Play processes the payment transaction. BUP Apps does not receive or store the user's full payment-card number, bank-account credentials, or other full payment credentials.

During purchase processing and restoration, Google Play and the App may process purchase-related information such as the product identifier, purchase status, purchase token, purchase time, acknowledgement state, and entitlement status as technically necessary to complete, acknowledge, restore, and recognize the purchase.

The App may cache entitlement status locally so that purchased ad removal can be reflected in the user experience. Purchase restoration may also query Google Play for existing eligible purchases.

8. INTERNET ACCESS AND DEVICE PERMISSIONS

The core audio functions can operate locally, but Internet access is used for Google AdMob, advertising delivery and measurement, UMP privacy messages and choices, Google Play Billing, purchase information and restoration, and related Google security, fraud-prevention, and compliance services.

The App may declare Android permissions required for its own functionality and included Google libraries, including Internet access, network-state access, vibration, advertising identifiers, and platform advertising services where applicable.

The App does not request microphone, camera, contacts, precise-location, photo-library, or video-library access for normal Water Eject or Speaker Test operation.

9. DATA SHARING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

BUP Apps does not sell BUP Speaker Rescue user profiles as a standalone data-broker business.

Information may be transmitted to or processed by Google in connection with AdMob, Google Mobile Ads, UMP, Google Play Billing, advertising delivery, measurement, purchase processing, security, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

The current App does not intentionally include Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook SDKs, or unrelated third-party behavioral analytics SDKs.

Third-party services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, retention practices, and legal obligations.

10. EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA, UNITED KINGDOM, AND SWITZERLAND

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions with similar privacy laws may have rights concerning personal data, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law.

Where advertising processing is based on consent, applicable users may review or modify their choices through the privacy controls made available through the App when required.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal.

Requests relating to information independently controlled by Google should be made through Google's applicable privacy tools and request mechanisms.

11. UNITED STATES STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Certain U.S. state privacy laws may provide residents with rights concerning targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, access, deletion, correction, and other processing.

Google's Privacy & Messaging systems may provide applicable privacy choices according to state, regulatory status, and supported opt-out mechanisms.

BUP Apps does not independently sell user profiles or operate an independent cross-context behavioral advertising database.

12. CHILDREN AND AGE-RESTRICTED USERS

BUP Speaker Rescue is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically directed to children.

The App does not knowingly ask children to create BUP Apps profiles or directly submit personal information to BUP Apps.

Advertising treatment and availability may be restricted or modified according to applicable law, Google account or age signals, platform policies, consent status, and device configuration.

13. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

BUP Apps does not maintain a BUP Speaker Rescue server-side user-profile database.

Local preferences, counters, and entitlement state remain on the device until changed, cleared, or removed through Android settings or App uninstallation, subject to platform behavior.

Users may remove locally stored App data by clearing the App's storage through Android settings or uninstalling the App.

Google may retain data processed through its advertising, privacy, and billing services according to Google's own retention policies, legal obligations, and user privacy controls.

Requests concerning data independently processed by Google should be handled through Google's applicable privacy controls.

14. DATA SECURITY

BUP Apps follows a data-minimization approach for the App's own functionality.

Core Water Eject functionality does not require microphone or camera access.

Google states that information automatically collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

No software, device, storage, or network system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. AUTOMATED PROCESSING AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

BUP Apps does not independently operate automated decision-making through BUP Speaker Rescue that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning users.

Advertising platforms may use automated systems for advertisement selection, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted.

Google and other participating advertising service providers may process information using infrastructure located in different countries. Where required, such processing is subject to applicable legal safeguards and service-provider compliance mechanisms.

16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

BUP Apps may update this Privacy Policy when App functionality, advertising technology, billing functionality, SDK behavior, Google Play or AdMob requirements, or applicable privacy laws change.

The Last Updated date will be revised when appropriate.

Material changes will be reflected in the Privacy Policy provided through the App and/or the official public Privacy Policy page as required.

Localized translations are provided inside BUP Speaker Rescue for user convenience.

If an unintended discrepancy exists between a translation and this English version, the English version reflects the canonical policy except where applicable law requires otherwise.
