George Asa Clough (May 27, 1843 – December 30, 1910) was the architect from Boston who designed the current building. He also designed the Buck Memorial Library which was built in 1887. He was born in Blue Hill, Maine. Clough trained as an architect at the firm of Snell & Gregerson, Boston, 1863-1869.
