Guidelines for BTR 3.0 usage

1. Run BTR.exe

2. Read the Input Data from the BTR Input file BTR_HNB_TOR_Aug10.dat (supplied in the package). To read the BTR Input file use the command Menu->Data->Read, in the invoked FileDialog open the file – and BTR will update the Input list.

3. Read the FW 2D profile. Use the command Menu->Edit->FW contour. In the invoked dialog click Read button and open the file FW_contour.txt or FWdiv_contour.txt (both supplied in the package).

4. Start the beam (Blue Comb start button on the Toolbar). Wait a couple of minutes before the parallel calculation is finished.

5. Select several FW “tiles”, click right mouse button and choose the option Combine Maps in the Context menu appeared. Then invoke the menu again and select Multi-colour or Contours map item – the combined image will appear .

6. If you want to change the map resolution, click the Context menu and choose Grid Steps command. Set the preferred grid steps – and the map will be recalculated immediately.
