This project was a way to show what we have learned in powerpoint and how to research another assignment. The assignment was challenging because it required us to find technical information while then making that information easily presentable.
As I just finished my application to the radiography program, I thought it would be fitting and interesting to learn about the cutting edge of medicine. On my initial research nanotechnology in medicine has many uses including: diagnostics, drug delivery, tissue engineering, and disease therapeutics. I wanted to dive deeper into the medical imaging advancements and see what else the emerging technology can offer.
When researching what the future of the technology could look like I found that advancements to soldiers in combat would be incredible. Being able to start the healing process without a medic initiating the treatment or having to take the time to patch oneself could be life saving. Depending on how mcuh it costs to do I am not sure how practical it is to implement. But the idea is cool in theory.
I learned how to make a PowerPoint the was simple but effective in getting across complex information. I also refamiliarized myself with OBS recording software. When I was making the recording for my "What is nanotechnology in medicine" slide. I forgot that I had a 2nd YouTube video going in the background. When I put the video in I realized that I could either rerecord the video or figure out a way to remove the audio from it. I chose to do a quick google search and find how to remove the audio. It required me going into the "playback" tab and turning the option on to mute the video. I am sure this will be helpful in the future when I need to make changes such as the start time/ end time, speed of the video or even making the video play fullscreen.
One last thing I learned was how useful the libray can be when completing research assignements. They got me on the right track and found relevant information quickly.
Thanks Professor Han!
