Although it was many years ago, seeing the prices for equivalent tech now feels crazy. I feel pain for anyone trying to get into the hobby now.

My PC took a while to save the money for, build and I am very happy with how it still performs. By looking up my hardware components again I found out about some new technologies that may not be good for my wallet...
The latest and greatest in consumer RAM is DDR5. Upgrading to that would require me to upgrade my motherboard. Here is what I would get if I wanted to go top of the line.
