Project Bread urges us to support hungry families. Fund SNAP caseworkers now!  Without this investment, people across Massachusetts will struggle to access the food assistance they need. Urge your State Representative to support Amendment #899 and fund DTA caseworkers.

Contact your members of Congress to request their support for the highest possible funding for international development and humanitarian assistance programs that save lives and reduce poverty in the fiscal year 2027 appropriations bill.

The 2026 Congressional World Refugee Day Resolution recognizes the courage and resilience of refugees and reaffirms the United States’ commitment to protecting people forced to flee conflict, persecution, and violence.  Send a message to your senators and representative today and urge them to co-sponsor this important resolution.

As of June 2026, over 300,000 lawfully present Haitians in the United States were relying on TPS. Bishop Cahill described the reality now facing Haitians who have been relying on TPS as a “moral crisis”. 

Forcibly returning thousands of families to Haiti at this moment would not only endanger their lives but would further destabilize Haiti itself. Now is the time to urge senators to support S. 4814 in order to prevent this injustice from occurring.  

Many priests, religious sisters & brothers, and others serving the Church throughout the US will be forced to abandon their ministries if policymakers do not act soon. Many Catholic institutions have already lost men and women who served in our country for years because of challenges with the Religious Worker Visa Program.  Ask your members of Congress to join with legislators on both sides of the aisle in supporting this much needed source of relief for people of faith and communities nationwide. 

At the beginning of the 119th Congress, the Frederick Douglass Trafficking Victims Prevention and Protection Reauthorization Act of 2025 (H.R. 1144) was reintroduced in the U.S. House of Representatives. In April 2025, the chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Migration joined with national partners in calling on the House to pass bipartisan bill H.R. 1144.
