Activity 2

Examining some rubrics

On the BSSS website, you can access Annotated Student Work Samples for some Mathematics, English and Science courses.  We are currently looking at expanding into the Arts and other subject areas soon.  It is important to look at the rubrics that are in this area and see if they are meeting the needs of our students in the way that Griffin argues is necessary.

The Annotated Work samples can be found here and are accessible to the public.

Now complete activity 2 by recording some of your observations about the rubrics we have available on the Annotated Student Work samples page found here.  You need to choose rubrics from either English, Mathematics or Science--choose an area most closely related to your own teaching area.

Don't forget to press submit when you have finished.
