After learning about the optimal growing and feeding conditions for Black Solider Flies, the need for sensors to monitor the environment became an essential part of the project. Below is the initial sensor research in the form of a design matrix.

Later in the semester, the Post-Harvest Loss Moisture Meter was discovered and chosen for the project. Below is an evaluation of this final sensor choice.
