David is the Founder of HUB Venture Partners LLP which emphasizes growing up to 1000 start-ups across all product and service disciplines domestically and globally. He is also the Chief Technical Scientist/Officer of Autonomous Directive Ventures focused on human-centric connectivity areas in mobility. David is a program manager for the United States Department of Defense, where he serves as the Development Technical Chair and System Engineering Lead for the Development Branch Undersea Defense Warfare. He is an expert in systems engineering and autonomous mobility. Part of his advisory mission to infuse opportunities for DeepTech applications and learning for founders and the tech community in general. Recently he joined Matr Ventures focusing on helping infuse innovation in Space Tech, with his advisory role at Frankenbuild Ventures out of Boston, MA. It's imperative we move the needle much faster and much more precisely to evolve technologies domestically for commercial and governmental use.

She began her career in Private Equity at Goldman Sachs, where she was an investor with the +6Bn impact-focused fund covering clean energy and financial technology in emerging markets. In her current firm, she invests in early-stage companies building tech and tech-enabled solutions founded by under-capitalized founders. Over the last 2 years, the team has welcomed its first four African companies into its portfolio.

Kojoh Atta has extensive experience in venture capital, startup strategy, and angel investing. He previously worked as an Investor at Highland Capital Partners in Menlo Park, CA focused on Series A to Series C B2B SaaS and consumer companies. He also serves as an Advisor to Golden Palm Investments, a Pre-Seed - Series A fund focused on fintech, digital health, and eComm companies based in Africa. Kojoh Atta is currently a dual-degree MBA/MA candidate at Wharton & The Lauder Institute, and received a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University. Austin Clements was elected to Knight Foundation’s board of trustees in 2022. He serves on the Investment and Program committees.
Clements is a Managing Partner at Slauson & Co., a Los Angeles based early-stage venture capital firm rooted in economic inclusion. There he focuses on investing in tech tools that empower small business owners. Within the firm, he also developed an accelerator called Friends & Family, to provide capital, guidance, and resources to entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey.
Clements was previously at venture capital firm TenOneTen Ventures, after beginning his career in investment management with AllianceBernstein. He also founded Pi Digital Media, a firm that focused on the design and development of web and mobile applications for small businesses across the country.
Clements was the founding Chair of PledgeLA, a city-wide initiative created by Annenberg Foundation and the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office to promote civic engagement and diversity in the tech community. He previously served on the board of Library Foundation of Los Angeles where he served on the investment committee and HBCUvc where he helped create programs to create pathways for underrepresented professionals to find roles in venture capital. Clements is a Kauffman Fellow who received his MBA from NYU Stern and his BA from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.
