Dr. Zac Iton earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the California Institute of Technology in 2024, where his research focused on solid-state ionics and multivalent ion conduction in inorganic materials. Originally from Barbados, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the Vagelos Integrated Program in Energy Research (VIPER), graduating in 2017 with degrees in Chemistry and Materials Science and Engineering. He is currently a Senior Cell Engineer at QuantumScape, where he works on the development of anode-free solid-state lithium metal batteries, focusing on interfacial stability, cell reliability, and advancing high-energy-density battery technologies for electric vehicles and grid-scale energy storage.
Tayo Adesanya is the founder of Lola Vision Systems; an artificial intelligence and machine learning high performance computing systems provider, specializing in creating solutions for Automotive, Aerospace and Defense original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Tayo is a proud Purdue Boilermaker and former student-athlete, having earned All-American and Big Ten Championship awards. Tayo received his MBA from Arizona State University.
Kene is an entrepreneur and product leader with over a decade of experience at high-growth technology companies. She is the founder of HEARD, a platform that helps product and marketing teams gather consumer insights by using AI to moderate user interviews. HEARD customers included high-growth companies like Spotify, Miro and Retool prior to its acquisition by Globant in 2025. Before founding HEARD, Kene was a Director of Product at Spotify and Netflix, and was the sixth employee and Consumer Product lead at Compass. Kene also cofounded Until We Do It, a nonprofit that distributed over 1M masks to vulnerable communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. She received her B.A. from Yale University and her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
