Astronomy Night
Students and parents enjoyed an exciting evening engaging in activities that promoted learning of space. Activities provided by the South Texas Astronomical Society.
Grandparents Day is an official national holiday, signed by President Carter in 1978 and celebrated on the first Sunday after Labor Day. Grandparents Day holiday is used “to honor grandparents, to give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children’s children, and to help children become aware of the strength, information, and guidance older people can offer.”
