Our youngest explorers took a field trip to our local library and did an investigative research on sharks during the BPL's shark week.
UTRGV Coastal Science Lab @ Isla Blanca
Our students went on a unique adventure where they learned about species of aquatic animals that reside on the Rio Grande Valley Coastline. They were able to touch sea urchins, a Texas Lightning Whelk, and a Hermit crab. Victoria showed them her research with corals off the coast of Texas and Shelby guided them on dissecting a squid.
Fragile Planet Wildlife Park
All our summer explorers took a field trip to a local wildlife park. They learned about wildlife, protecting the environment, and saving endangered species. Thank you Fragile Planet Wildlife Park for an unforgettable experience.
