Design and Modeling & Flight and Space are two Project Lead The Way courses offered as extracurricular club to middle school students (6-8) to learn about the engineering process, designing prototypes, flight, space travel and real-world problems faced by engineers. Students in these clubs are also given the opportunity to join the Texas Alliance of Minorities in Engineering (T.A.M.E.) which allows them to connect with students who share their passion for STEAM all across the valley in a annual competition held at UTRGV - Edinburg Campus.

Eggs-xtra Protection
Students learned about chemical reactions, and jet propulsions when they formed rockets out of film canisters using alka-seltzer tablets and water.
BB Roller Coaster
Student are given limited resources to build a roller coaster in which they have to add BBS and have them arrive at a cup and stay there without bouncing out.
This provides students with the opportunity to work in teams and use their creativity to solve a problem.
