Brussels City Ballet was founded by Aki Nishio,
She had a full-time career with Royal Ballet of Flanders and National Theater Brno. She performed and worked with George Ballanchine, William Forsythe, David Dawson,Marcia Haydee, Uwe Schorz, Christian Spuck, Krizstof Pastor, Jiri Kyrian, Youri Vamos, Nacho Duato and many more..She performed in theaters in Belgium, France, Italy, Germany,Spain,Czech Repulic, Slovakia, Burgaria, Finland, Denmark, Boston, Japan, Andorra, Poland, Slovenia, Holland,…

She was choreographer assistant of ‘The Nutcracker’ by Les Grands Ballet Canadiens and premier ballet Cyrano Bergerac in Tiroler Landestheater in Austria. She produced her first choreography ‘Tengu’ for National Theater Brno in the Czech Republic. She created ‘The Nutcracker’ and a new western ballet in Mechelen Stadsschouwburg.

She studied in Tokyo by Kishibe ballet studio, Kurihashi ballet studio, Walnut Hill School in USA, Royal Ballet school in Antwerp.
After her return to Belgium, she continued as a freelance dancer, teacher and choreographer. She is recognised by Federation Brussels-Wallonie as a classical dance professor.
She was supporting the Belgian Olympic/Paralympic Committee Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020 and so she performed for Belgium Royal Family.

She often guest as a dancer for the Gala, shows in Japan and Europe.
