The Construction curriculum at Brownhill Special School is to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in construction skills while fostering independence, confidence, and employability. This curriculum is tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, focusing on developing life skills, vocational abilities, and an understanding of safety in a construction environment. Students can complete the ASDAN Construction Award.

Learning how to measure, cut, and assemble materials safely.
Completing simple building tasks such as fixing shelves or painting walls.

Understanding safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and using tools correctly.
