Career and Designer Cards - Fall 2025

For my first assignment in my Visual Communcation class we were tasked with designing 20 cards (40 on an InDesign document) that were based on creative careers within the design industry. We also had to find a bunch of designers and artists who fit under those five careers. For this, I drew inspiration from the Fruitger Aero aesthetic from the early 2000's that was often found on Windows computers during the early days. I spent a good week drafting out sketches for the final design and ended up scrapping the rest and starting fresh. I wanted to use a photo I took, so I used the same fish photo from last academic year which gave the surreal and futuristic vibe I was going for. I used Photoshop to edit the picture alongside using InDesign and Procreate to format the rest of the cards. These were all eventually printed on cardstock - 4 x 6 !!
