For my Materials and Textiles class, I was tasked with upcycling a piece of clothing (or a few) to use the skills such as sewing, embroidery and embellishments to create something brand new and fresh. 

I decided to use a pair of basic, light wash jeans for this project as my main piece. I used fabric paint, a sewing kit, embroidery kit and other materials given to me by my professor to execute this project properly. 

Once I was finished, I decided to create a graphic/poster using Canva Pro to create the final look and vibe I was going for. The outfit is based off fo Stolas which is a character from an animated series on Youtube. He is a royal owl and his character is a dark blue which I believe resembles royality very well. I wanted to incorporate that into this design. 

Overall, I have learned a lot especially with this being my final project for the class. This taught me to push through even if I do not have a skill mastered there is always a second chance.
