Pictured to the left is my final draft of the Literature Review assignment, which asked us to write in a new genre with specific instructions:
opens with Swales' CARS Model moves
Integrates all accumulated sources through paraphrases and summaries
Synthesizes research to accurately represent the critical conversation within the topic
End with two defined questions that serve to fill the identified gap in current research
This was definitely the hardest assignment so far, because it asks us to not only choose reputable and fitting sources but also accurately represent them and weave their contents together into a legible paper. I'm pretty happy with the way that my final submission turned out, although I wish I had applied the feedback I had received from Professor Cano Diaz and the University Writing Center.
