2019 RAA Grant.pdfRAA Grant Acceptance.pdfFor Read Across America Week 2019, I was the coordinator of KEA-SP's Literacy Event at Parker Bennett Curry Elementary. I helped write and submit our grant to request funding, I recruited volunteers, and I executed the event on March 1.
Volunteers read to students, passed out stickers and bookmarks, and helped make hat crafts. I judged students' hats and chose four winning classes who received pizza parties through the grant.

I was KEA-SP's coordinator for the event to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and worked with Laura Eason at Parker Bennett Curry Elementary. Two members read to students, and two additional members helped supervise bookmark making. Before students left, they were able to take donated books home.
