1. Listen to the story being read. Draw a first draft of how you imagine Mr. Twit.

2. Read the text. Check with an English-English dictionary the meaning of words you may not know. You can include other features not mentioned in the text.

3. Show your drawing to your partner. Explain why you have drawn Mr. Twit the way you have. Try not to use basic words. Rather than 'ugly', look for synonyms in a thesaurus.

4. Using Bloom's taxonomy, think of questions (HOTS) you could ask about Mr. Twit. He has a wife, Mrs. Twit. You can speculate about her as well.
