Cast

Carolyn Boyden (Mariane) (They/Them) is a Theatre Major at Bristol Community College. Their previous work in the program includes portraying Molly Aster in "Peter And The Starcatcher," Queen Eurydice and The Sentry in "Antigone," In addition to various Ensemble roles in "All The World's a Cabaret," and The Spring 2025 "One Act Festival."

They are a tireless artist and an industrious student who has recently achieved becoming a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. They are thankful for the opportunity BCC has given them to explore their various passions as they figure out which direction they wish to take their creative pursuits.

Persephone Cholmondeley (Dorine) is thrilled to be a part of Bristol Community College's production of Tartuffe. Her favorite credits include The Drowning Girls (Margaret), Dracula (Lucy), and Maelstrom (The Red Death). Offstage, Persephone is an avid equestrian and enjoys working puzzles with her mom. Forever grateful to her characters for teaching her how to live. AMDA: Certificate.

Erron Custadio (Damis) is an artist from Fall River. Although this will be his first experience with theater, he performs stand up & comedy improv. He also recently wrapped filming in his first leading role in a feature length independent horror movie, The Rez,  based on the horror lore of Fall River and Freetown, directed by Robert Traverse.

Training: Performance Art at Trinity Repertoire Theatre in Providence. 

Christopher Francis (Cleante) joins BCC for the first time, but recently could be seen as Dracula (Dracula: Comedy of Terrors) with TPAC. Orlando (As You Like It) with Roundabout Productions and as Giles (The Mousetrap) with Attleboro Community Theater. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco where he performed in a myriad of productions, notably as JD (Heathers), Madame Pernelle (Tartuffe), and Brad/Rocky (The Rocky Horror Picture Show). Christopher is also a semi-accomplished short-filmmaker and additionally works as a film festival programmer for the Salute Your Shorts and Wood’s Hole film festivals. Jessica Gates (Elmire) is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful production of Tartuffe! Past roles include: Karen (Dinner with Friends), Ophelia (Persons of the Play/Shakespeare's Dead Dames), The Witch (Into the Woods), Sister Amnesia (Nunsense), Morticia (The Addams Family: A New Musical) and standing behind Christine Baranski on the set of The Gilded Age. A trained soprano, Jessica has had the honor of singing for Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI, at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, Don't Tell Mama (NYC) and - closer to home and heart - Fenway Park. Thank you to her family and friends for their unending love and support.    

Kaitlynn Grabowski (Flipote, Assistant to Costume Designer) is a current student at Bristol Community College studying Veterinary Health Science and is thrilled to be performing in Tartuffe. Past acting experiences include the One Act Plays at BCC last spring and working as a scare actor at Factory of Terror. With a passion for animals inspired by her cat Melody and hamster Harriet, her goal after BCC is to become a Veterinary Technician, specifically working with livestock and cattle.

Geoffrey Huchel (Monsieur Loyal) is thrilled to be part of the cast of Tartuffe. Geoffrey enjoys the dry wit and impeccable timing that makes this role such a pleasure. A lover of classic literature and sharp comedy, he believes a well-placed quip can speak volumes. His previous stage credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Nicholas Nickleby, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Alice in Wonderland, Dark of The Moon, and My Favorite Year. Geoffrey enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking and has a strong passion for writing and art, and their many forms. Geoffrey is a published children’s book author with an endearing appreciation for stories that balance heart, humor and imagination. He is deeply grateful to those closest to him whose constant encouragement and belief make every creative endeavor possible and meaningful.

Brien Lang (Orgon) is a Rhode Island based actor, director, writer and theater educator.  He is a Resident Artist and Director of New Works at Olneyville’s Wilbury Theater Group.  Previously at BCC he directed productions of Romeo and Juliet and After The Blast.  Favorite roles include Trig in Stupid F*&@ing Bird (Wilbury) Ed Wood in The Thing That Ate My Brain…Almost (Perishable Theater) and The Centurion in The Centurion (Manhattan Rep).  At Wilbury he has directed shows including What the Constitution Means to Me, Hir and Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Play.  His original musicals include The My Way Murders, Rhode Dawn! and Roadhouse: The Musical.  He is also a founding member of The Rhode Island Ukulele Armada and a long time contributor to the Manton Avenue Project.

Sam Martini (Officer, Understudy Elmire) is excited to be performing in BCC's production of Tartuffe! Theatre has always been her passion, and she hopes to share that joy with others. Thank you to those who have supported me along the way. Enjoy the show!

Madeline Nystrom (Understudy Dorine and Mariane) is ecstatic to be participating in this production of Tartuffe. This is her first show with the Bristol Community College Theatre Company. She is currently a junior at Joseph Case High School and is inher second semester as a Dual Enrollment student at BristolCommunity College. Some of the past roles she has performed as include Freida in Carrie (The Community Players), Snow White in Brother’s Grimm Spectaculathon (Taunton Performing Arts Center), Roger Sherman in 1776 (The Contemporary Theatre), Kaylee in The Prom (Joseph Case High School Theatre Company), Bird Girl in Seussical (Joseph Case High School Theatre Company), and Pharisee/Tower of Babble Soloist in Godspell (Joseph Case High School Theatre Company). She would like to thank everyone involved in this production for the opportunity to perform with the Bristol Community College Theatre Company.

Jerry Ridlen (he/they), (Valere) is proud to return to Bristol's theatre program, this time as a community actor, after performing in previous productions such as Antigone, Peter and the Starcatcher, and last year’s All the World’s a Stage. In their free time, they enjoy making music, writing stories, and daydreaming. Above all else, he adores the company of their friends and relishes every opportunity to strengthen his bonds with them. Jerry is excited for this opportunity to work with friends and put his acting skills to the test once again.

Ryan Treacy (Mme Parnelle, Laurent, Understudy Tartuffe) (They/Them) is a theatre major at Bristol Community College. They love the art of acting and performance and wish to further branch out to other areas of theatre. They have a great deal of interest in eventually writing and directing for stage. When Ryan is not engaging in theatrics, they are busy as a hobbyist beekeeper and honey plunderer. Through honing their craft as an actor, they have managed to mask their fear of the swarm. Although Ryan is greatly outnumbered and generally terrified, the bees have yet to revolt.

Creative Team 

David Ledoux (Director) is Chair and Professor of Theatre at Bristol Community College. At Bristol, his directing credits include An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Our Town, and the original devised work Only the Ghosts Can Know, which marked the program’s international debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland.

His professional career spans acting, directing, writing, producing, and teaching across theatre,

film, and voice-over recording. Regional theatre credits include work at McCarter

Theatre, George Street Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, and Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. New York credits include Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway work with Ensemble

Studio Theatre (play readings), Cocteau Repertory, Vital Theatre Company, and Pulse Ensemble. His audiobook narration includes Water for Elephants, Freedom by Jonathan Franzen,and Twentieth Century Ghosts by Joe Hill.

Joseph Crumlish (Lighting Designer) 

Dan Monte (Original Music and Sound Design) is a Southcoast Massachusetts-based musician. Currently, Dan is on staff at Salve Regina University and is music faculty at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Dan is also Music Director at Peace Dale Congregational Church in Kingstown, RI as well as maintains a busy freelance schedule. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Ithaca College, and a master’s degree in Music Performance from Rutgers University. Dan is also an avid composer of contemporary classical music, film, and commercial music, as well as other genres. Max Ponticelli (Scenic Designer) is a Professor of the Practice at Wheaton College. He has also taught at the University of Rhode Island, Clark, and Bridgewater State. Recent productions include: Wheaton - Urinetown: The Musical!, RENT (Scenic Design), Lysistrata, Roe (Lighting); Wilbury Theatre Group - Silhouette of a Silhouette, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (Scenic Design), The Humans, FringePVD, The Floating World, (TD) AntigoneX, Lifted (Projection Design); University of Rhode Island - Miss Nelson is Missing, She Kills Monsters, The Wolves (Scenic Design), Women & War (Lighting Design).

Max is a self-proclaimed theatrical mutt and accidental professor. He enjoys teaching and studying a variety of subjects, and prioritizes experiential learning experiences for his students. Mikayla Reid (Costume Designer) is a Providence-based costume designer and craft artisan. She is excited to design Tartuffe after teaching it in Costume Design at BCC last semester. Recent credits include Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Hamlet, and Amadeus (The Gamm Theatre), Penelope, Crumbs from the Table of Joy, Yellow Face, and Thirst (Lyric Stage), Learning How to Read by Moonlight, Hoops, and Black Super Hero Magic Mama (Company One), Footloose (Theatre By The Sea), When the Mind’s Free (Real Live Theater), Orpheus in the Overworld and Shrike (Fresh Ink), and Fall Festival’s The Tempest, Cymbeline, Julius Caesar, and Hamlet(Shakespeare & Company). Mikayla has Guest Artist work seen at Northeastern University, Merrimack College, Rhode Island College, and the University of Rhode Island. Olivia M. Sahlin (Stage Manager) is an experienced theater artist who fills many roles on and off stage. The past year has seen her participate in a variety of stage productions with Contemporary Theater Company (Wakefield, RI), Arctic Playhouse (West Warwick, RI), Newport Playhouse (Newport, RI), Barker Playhouse (Providence, RI), and Through the Glass Theatre Ensemble (Providence, RI). She also performs with TEN31 Productions (@wemakepretend). Whether stage managing, acting, singing, directing, painting, or sitting in an audience, she is grateful for the wonderful New England theater community and the many opportunities it creates for artistic expression. 

Brooklyn Toli (Assistant Producer) is a Boston-based educator and arts administrator. She is a faculty member at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she teaches jazz and tap dance, and serves as Administrative Associate for Dorrance Dance. She is also the choreographer for New Bedford Festival Theatre and has set work on the Providence College Dance Company and the Bristol Community College Theater Program.

In 2020, Brooklyn founded Sisters Support Success, an organization dedicated to expanding arts accessibility and awarding an annual $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior committed to volunteerism. She holds an M.F.A. in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College and a B.A. in Dance Performance and Musical Theater from Rhode Island College.

Maggie England (Assistant Stage Manager) is a theatre major at Bridgewater State University and is striving to be a better performer with acting, dancing,  and assist stage managing. Previous shows she has done and helped with while at Bristol are The One Who Disappears, Pippin, Back Stage Crew Romeo and Juliet, Our Town, The Travelers,  After the Last, Urinetown,  Julius Caesar, Antigone, Only the Ghost Can Travel, Theatre Lab, All the Worlds a Cabaret, and the One Act Festival. Outside of BSU she dances at Artistic Dance Studio, Motion the Dance Studio and teaches kids dance classes at the Gleason Family YMCA. Her hobbies include dancing, playing the piano, taking walks, and hanging with her family and friends.

Bryce Choquette (Assistant Stage Manager) is an independent Horror movie filmmaker in the Bristol Theater Program. He is currently taking the musical theater class and has taken many of other classes in the Theater program. Bryce was also in two other plays here at Bristol Community College such as “ The One who Disappears “ where he was the sound board operator for that production. The other production that he was in was “Romeo & Juliet “ as the prince with his little dragon puppet. Bryce was also a writer for the Summer one act festival with his script  an unlikely friendship which is about a mad scientist named Dr. Shivers and his creation who become the unlikely best of friends. Bryce has been a part of Bristol's Macie program from 2021-2024. His two independent horror movies Robotic Circus & Charleston and Behind the Facepaint were two independent horror movies that he wrote, filmed, directed, and produced. You can find these films on Youtube. He is currently working on another movie Called Family from Hell which is being filmed in the spring. Bryce is also a Talented puppeteer with his Youtube series The Puppet Bunch Show on his Youtube channel Bryce Choquette Show.
