Blue Park Awards

Marine Conservation Institute passed the podium to Brigitta upon awarding the Raja Ampat Islands Marine Conservation Area with the Blue Park Award for effective conservation! This was one of three podium remarks Brigitta delivered during this conference!

Brigitta shared about updates about #30x30Indonesia and the projects to advance awareness about 30x30 among local communities in Indonesia. This was a side event as part of the United Nations Ocean Conference which was streamed live on Youtube.

Brigitta spoke about 30x30 Indonesia, intergenerational collaboration, and the importance of positive memories to spark a 'for-nature mindset'. She was fully sponsored by the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas to attend the Asia Parks Congress, as the youngest delegate, to share about her projects and facilitate the Nature For All Storytelling Workshop.

UNLEASH Global Innovation Lab - Mysore, India

SDG 14 & 15: Source to Sink

Brigitta was selected as a global talent, from a pool of over 19,000 applicants, to join the UNLEASH Global Innovation Lab for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

She was selected as a scholarship recipient and was fully funded to join +1000 people from +160 countries at the Infosys Campus in Mysore, India. She was part of the SDG 14 & 15 track: Source to Sink, where her team engaged in creating an innovative solution to improving access to coral reef monitoring in developing countries. Her team is looking forward to exploring opportunities to bring this idea to life.

Annual Meeting & Advocacy Day - Washington, DC, US

EarthEcho International brought their Youth Leadership Council together in Washington, DC for an annual meeting and advocacy day. Brigitta engaged with other youth leaders from across the globe to attend Capitol Hill meetings with Congress Members, meetings at the US State Department, with federal agencies, NOAA administrator, and so many more!
