#30x30Indonesia Launch

In 2021, we launched the #30x30Indonesia campaign, bringing together youth of all ages, teachers, divers, NGOs, and government officials.

This movement has reached over 10,000 people through social media and events, garnering the attention of Bali's Provincial Government in which they posted an article in their official website, holding the sign "#30x30Indonesia."

As part of Brigitta's role in the OceanEcho 30x30 Fellowship at EarthEcho International, she launched #30x30Indonesia and hosted educational events (online and on-site), while distributing free and resuable cloth masks which she designed to advocate about 30x30.

The mask design incorporates the Batik Parang motif. As one of the oldest basic batik motifs, Batik Parang illustrates the spirit of never giving up, like the ocean waves that never stop moving. Batik Parang also depicts a relationship that never breaks, both in terms of efforts to improve oneself, efforts to fight for prosperity, as well as forms of family ties.
