The beauty of the internet? Findind someone who wants to sell you their MaxxFan at a ridiculously reasonable price so they can upgrade to a fancier MaxxFan.
The downside of not reading directions? Sometimes you plug in a fan backwards and fry a component of the circuit board. Which isn't really a problem because you can find the itty bitty part you broke, replace it, and BOOM! MaxxFan works again!
It's always very nerve-wracking and what if we put the 14"x14" hole in the wrong place? There's no undoing this.
Mineral spirits to the rescue!
The next steps don't exist in picture form, but here is what we did next:
slid the MaxxFan into place and screwed it into the roof flange
wired the MaxxFan into electrical system
put up ceiling and put up the interior flange
