K-12 Recruitment

Senior Weekend (SW) is a student-run, 3-day, 4-night all-expense paid overnight program serving about 500 high school seniors who have been admitted to UC Berkeley. 

It is an opportunity for students to experience living in the residence halls or off-campus housing with current undergraduates from the RRCs. 

Newly admitted students participate in multicultural programs, workshops, and cultural events that will give them the opportunity to engage and interact with current UC Berkeley undergraduates and other admitted students. 

As the largest yield event at Cal, this weekend is an opportunity for students to establish essential social networks before they enter post-secondary education.
