Brett Cavanaugh's Portfolio

I am a Mechanical Engineering Junior at Tufts University with a focus on aerospace and management, currently expanding my global perspective through a study abroad program at the University of Sydney.

My technical foundation is built on hands-on manufacturing and design. I am proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Onshape) and experienced in machining parts on heavy machinery, including lathes and Bridgeport mills.

I am deeply passionate about the aerospace industry. As President of the Tufts Students for Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), I have led teams, organized large-scale events, and represented my university at national meetings. I also contributed to the logistics and construction of a competition rocket for the Spaceport America Cup and hold certifications from the National Association of Rocketry (NAR).
