Communication

I believe that learning occurs both inside and outside the classroom, and so much learning can be occurring in the home. It's so important that I have strong communication with the families of my students so that way we can work together to help the students reach the highest possible skill level with these concepts. My main approach is to send out a detailed newsletter each month breaking down exactly what will be occurring in my classroom. Alongside this newsletter, your child will be bringing home a packet of at-home activities that correspond to each unit. These are not mandatory activities but can help enrich your child and continue building on the learning that is occurring in the classroom. My main goal with my communication methods is to create a sense of "Congruent Communication", I want the students and their families to feel like social equals when it comes to this classroom.
