A long time ago, when there was no cars, how did people get around?
You couldn't take a train and you couldn't take a plane and you couldn't just drive to town.
My great, great, great, great grand daddy had an animal he called John.
Had two eyes, two ears, four legs, one back which he rode upon.

Now John the horse was a happy horse and he was a mighty good friend.
He'd always come a'runnin' when he seen grand dad said take me for a ride again!
He'd saddle him up and jump on his back and ride him into town.
Cause there was no buses and no subways, you had to ride a horse to get around!
