I remember the exciting beginnings of the Brent & Woofy team. Now it's the 25th anniversary?? WOW!! Time flies where we're all having FUN. That's the bottom line for all the Brent & Woofy songs...FUN!! Two generations of FUN now. The songs are entertaining,educational and the kids...and big kids...love them. I have been listening to Brent and Woofy for 25 years (funny how that dog never ages). Brent has created another great collection of songs and many appeal to all ages. I love how he has infused the kids voices into his music and how he touches on real subjects like cell phone etiquette and growing your own food. These songs teach while entertaining. Great Job Brent and Woofy.

Brents new cd songs are really sounding great, and I really like the feel of the album.Its positive and upbeat and I think for children or adults, both would enjoy this music. He covers nature, people, animals, colours, the sky (I like that one a lot). I also like the colour song which I saw Brent perform live.

Brent Boehler's CD " Bright Sunny Day" celebrates a 25 year milestone as a children's entertainer. This is Boehler's 6th CD and the songs demonstrate a keen understanding of how to connect with kids. This CD covers all the essential bases: Good lyrics and melodies, skillful musicianship and production, balancing humor with teaching moments. Finally, an eclectic mix of genres, including rock, country, folk and even a sweet lullaby keeps this CD fresh with every new track.
Boehler's sidekick Woofy is an integral part of the live experience. So, including Woofy's distinctive voice on many of the tunes adds a playful, humorous element. Having some children's voices in some songs has the effect of drawing children in, making it clear that this music is made for them.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this CD. It is enthusiastic and has heart.

All the song files and graphics were sent to the reproduction company yesterday! Plenty of time before the release party! Yeah! Next - release on CD Baby, submit to Juno! Then we party!
Song 11 on the CD is called, What Will Grow. It was written by Brent way back in the very beginning, 1993, only took 25 years to record it! Handout was made on an Atria computer, printed on tractor feed dot matrix printer!
Bright Sunny Day CD update September 17th 2018. We are into editing and mixing the new CD. I was looking through old CDs to make some comparisons and came across this gem from 1995! CD update. September 11th 2018. Glen Foster popped by today to lend his ears in a mixing session. It's always good to have another set of ears to have a listen to the recordings I have been listening to over and over again and missing a few things. Thanks Glen. And thanks for playing your guitar on some of the tunes! CD is coming along find ahead of schedule! Nice!🎧🎤🎹
Bright Sunny Day CD Update! August 21-18. All but 3 songs are ready to go! Yeah! The kids are coming into the studio to record on Monday, my favorite part of recording Brent & Woofy CDs!
August 13, 2018 Four songs ready! 5 ready for vocals! The rest are still being worked on...almost done! Tick Tock, Nov 17th is comin' fast!
June 8th 2018 CD update! I have 9 songs all mapped out and ready to go! One is almost finished! Haha. Today I wrote a song called, "Twenty Five Years with You" about the Brent and Woofy 25th anniversary this year. When I first had the idea for this song it was a slow dreamy type song for Woofy to sing. But when I sat down at the keyboards today I turned into a boom-chuck piano song! Surprise! And a darn good surprise it is too!
June 4th 2018, Woofy's 25th birthday! I have been putting in many hours getting the studio setup and recording scratch tracks for most of the songs. Everything is coming along fine. Should have no trouble meeting the deadline! I wrote and recorded a new song today called I Have a Wonder! Cool song. Dreamy song... reminds me of when i was kid, always wondering!
