Reshot of LS26834. Notable is that the fill has been flattened and paved. The trees have increased in size. They made it impossible to see the smoke stack, but the twin spires were visible, allowing for orientation. The GPS position is Latitude 44.488056 N, Longitude 073.195883 W.
This image, taken April 23, 1931 is at the intersection of Intervale Avenue on the left, North Prospect Street on the right, with Riverside Avenue in the center. View is looking east. Note the rail ties on the left and several utility poles on the left (north) side of the Avenue, in the distance. Reshot of LS71539. The roads have been entirely paved, There are buildings on both sides of Riverside Avenue and a large traffic light is evident. A gasoline stations is evident on the south side of Riverside Avenue. A sidewalk has been placed in the strip of land that had its pavement removed in the 1931 image.
